Luteranos celebram 60 anos da igreja da Vila Nova

No próximo dia 21 de maio, a comunidade luterana de riomafra estará em festa, para comemorar os 60 anos da igreja Luterana da Vila Nova em Mafra.

Para marcar a data, a igreja realizará um culto festivo às 10h. Na sequência, por volta das 12h, haverá um almoço comunitário no salão da igreja. Toda a população está convidada a prestigiar o evento.

Conforme o pasto Jairo Menezes, que está há 16 anos a frente da comunidade Luterana de Riomafra, a igreja da Vila Nova é uma das igrejas mais antigas da região e mentem os princípios da reforma protestante. “Tentamos preservar o aspecto histórico, mas também, assumir os desafios da sociedade e geração atual”, frisou.

A igreja está localizada na rua Gustavo Adolfo Friedrich, 1187, bairro Vila Nova em Mafra.
